Solid, but fundamentally lackluster. Missing the most basic of functions such as. * Can't set legs/Sets in X01. * No previous scores logged in X01. * No running 1/3 Dart average in X01 during gameplay. * Checkouts are usually poorly worked out or straight up wrong. *Starts in portrait mode, which is annoying as my tablet is wall mounted in Landscape. * Robot players are woefully poor. The board and App work well together, but it's clearly aimed at casual dart players with baffling decisions.
Game keeps crashing before last throw on any game!. also email support button doesn't work!. and finally why can't you play sets or legs or atleast have the last player to throw, "throw next". this inability really throws into doubt your(unicorn) basic grasp of darts! Forgive the pun and unicorn sort this out PLEASE! Otherwise it's a good app
The new version is disappointing. No more player stats. App starts in portrait mode then switches to landscape, which is annoying when your device is placed on a stand. The sounds are boring and can't be changed. Can't see the score history in-game anymore. And now ADDS?
Not connecting to board anymore.
Can take hours to connect. Rubbish
To simple because you can't even play a normal set of 3 or 5 legs. No statistics except average per 1 dart. Should be updated with the possibility to play a real game instead of just 1 leg. The board itself is horrible. Doesn't count a lot of scores and constantly have to fix that. So Unicorn... Please make the app a bit more professional like many other Dartscounters.
Still don't work,it doesn't show you how to rotate the board.
Having owned three boards ,due to getting two replacements I'm going to write a review since I've being playing on them for over a year,when I first got the board I thought it was great everything worked most of the time then a treble went ,and they sent me a replacement but it wasn't as good as the first wires coming out badly not enough staples, wires bending in ,they sent me a third so I can't complain but now they've updated the app I can only play with the board turned 1 way which shame
Update: Surprisingly the support team have been very helpful and timely. The app has now been updated to function on android 10. The app doesnt connect to the smart board and gives no instructions on how to manually connect. I can see the board on my available bluetooth device but have no idea what the code is... Paid £90 for a dart board that I cant even use because of this awful app.
Does not work now that android v10 has been installed, app was last updated in 2017, I've contacted unicorn but no response, I guess 75 years of being darts masters means they don't have to update an app for a £250 dart board.
